School Finance Officer & Administrator

Fletewood School is looking to hire a part-time (3 days per week), experienced School Finance Officer & Administrator to work in our reception.

Alternatively, we are prepared to fully fund a Level 4 School Business Professional Apprenticeship as a full-time role.

The successful candidate will assist with the financial and administrative running of the school and be required to commence in September 2024. If you would like to join a committed, professional team; have a breadth of experience of working in an office environment, or are willing to learn via an apprenticeship; enjoy being part of a learning and faith community, we would like to hear from you.

Essential Criteria for the part-time role:

Knowledge and Experience of economics and accounting Financial management skills A willingness to engage with the general public and be the ‘face of the school’ An empathy with the work, values and ethos of the Seventh-day Adventist Church Excellent organisational skills

Essential Criteria for the Apprenticeship role:

Working term time only, (39 weeks out of 52 per year) and depending on qualifications and experience, the annual salary will be £15,665 per year for the part-time role.

Alternatively, working term time only, (39 weeks out of 52 per year) an hourly rate of £6.50 with the understanding that the school will fully fund an apprenticeship, with a mandatory 2-year contract for the successful candidate on completing the Level 4 apprenticeship in Schoo Business Professional (details can be found here:
